About Me
After graduating from the University of Plymouth with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, I worked within the NHS for several years before specialising in musculoskeletal conditions. I am registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and Health Care Professions Council. I use a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. Following an assessment, my treatment programmes are tailored around your needs and goals. This may be reducing pain, increasing range of movement, easing muscle tension or providing appropriate exercises.
I also hold specialist qualifications in Pilates (APPI) acupuncture (BMAS) and Sports Massage (Fd degree Sports Science)

Acupuncture

A treatment to help alleviate pain and inflammation

Soft tissue therapy

Massage is used to alleviate pain and muscle tension, reduce swelling and increase range of movement

Kinesiology Taping

By supporting a body part, taping techniques can be used to alleviate pain, muscle tension and reduce swelling

Pilates

Physiotherapy-led Pilates is a safe and effective exercise method designed to improve strength, mobility, flexibility, balance and coordination

Manual Therapy

Techniques can be used to apply pressure to soft tissue e.g. muscle or to mobilise joints to reduce pain and improve joint range of motion

Home Exercise Plan

Following injury, the surrounding tissues will be weakened. Strengthening muscles can prevent further injury and aid recovery

Pilates Class Timetable

Each class lasts approximately 60 minutes and is suitable for all levels of fitness; even those with back pain. Please bring a bottle of water and a small towel. Classes fill quickly, please contact prior to attending to ensure there is a place available.
